Okay, so it starts – let the Windows Phone 7 WP7 NFC phone rumors commence. Since the back end of March, rumors have been circulating that Microsoft is planning to go into the Near Field Communications NFC payments market, but until now there has been nary a word about what WP7 phones would enable this to happen. What is known at this point is that Japan has more NFC WP7 NFC phone rumors phones than you could shake a stick at, so perhaps it is no surprise that WP7 NFC phone rumors are linked to current Japanese NFC phones.
In Japan, many manufacturers have NFC phones on the market including Toshiba, Sharp and WP7 NFC phone rumors Fujitsu to name just a few. Most are based on the Android platform and have been steadily released since late last year. As an illustration of just how many NFC phones the Japanese have, take a look at a listing of phones on three of the country’s carriers.

We think you will agree that compared to Japan, with only the Nexus S and the Nokia C7 Astound, we are lagging just a little here in the United States. But don’t feel too bad – the poor UK only has the Samsung Tocco at the moment which is as much use as a chocolate saucepan for a hardcore smartphone user that wants an NFC phone. Chin up, UK, you have the Blackberry Bold coming on September 15th and others like the Nokia N9 to follow. You may even see the mythical Samsung Galaxy S II NFC variant, The Loch Ness Monster, fairies and the Beast of Bodmin Moor by then as well. Of course, the last few won’t help with NFC, but they would be a turn up for the books and appear to have the same probability as you laying your eyes on the SGII NFC. Enough with our diversion and on with the WP7 NFC phone rumors.
WP7 NFC phone rumors
A few days ago, Microsoft had a show and tell session in regards to its WP7 NFC phone rumors Mango update. If you haven’t been following the news in the last couple of weeks, you may have missed that WP7 has been losing ground against other operating systems and WP7′s update is touted to be the fix-all to WP7 NFC phone rumors Microsoft’s problems. What has sparked WP7 NFC phone rumors are a couple of the smartphones on display at the meet up. Before we go into the actual rumors, we should first point out that they, as the post title suggests, at this point are just WP7 NFC rumors. First up – Fujitsu’s first Windows Phone handset.

Fujitsu’s WP7 NFC Phone rumors
The Fujitsu REGZA T-01C bears a striking similarity resemblance to the Fujitsu Windows WP7 NFC phone rumors phone and as the REGZA is an NFC-enabled phone this has led to speculation that this may indeed be the same phone with a different operating system and a new processor. The REGZA, like the WP7 phone, has a mighty 12 mega pixel camera. They share the same basic shape and both can be seen in the same hue of pink. The camera housing around the back of the phone is also nearly identical. However, we must say we did see a few differences in case design – the WP7 version doesn’t show any physical buttons at the bottom of the screen and there are some slight differences in fitments on the case. So, could this mean WP7 NFC phone rumors Microsoft is getting closer to announcing an NFC payments program – or is this just a WP7 NFC phone rumor? You decide.
Nokia N9 NFC phone and the Nokia Sea Ray WP7 NFC phone rumor
The second WP7 NFC rumor comes courtesy of Microsoft’s best new bud, WP7 NFC phone rumors Nokia . Not a month ago we got our first look at the Nokia N9 MeeGo NFC phone. The phone has a very distinctive and attractive slate design and comes in a 3 colors, one of which is black. The N9 has NFC but does not ship with a secure element, which means it would have to hand off that responsibility to a microSD or NFC SIM card. That would be all fine and dandy but the N9 also has no software support to do this. Nonetheless, the N9 is looking to be a capable NFC smartphone and the Nokia codenamed Sea Ray looks as if it is the N9′s twin. Like all twins there are minor differences. The LED on the back of the WP7 NFC phone rumors WP7 phone is slightly different and it is obviously sporting a different operating system. But those differences aside, it would be hard to tell these phones apart. In knowing that Microsoft has an appetite for NFC payments, we can’t help wonder whether the Sea Ray doesn’t pack the good NFC stuff inside.
In our experience, there is no such thing as coincidence and large mobile phone manufacturers don’t completely re-design the innards of phones if they don’t have to. Could these be nothing more than WP7 NFC phone rumors? Sure, but they could just as easily be WP7 NFC phone rumors accurate . You decide on this one. If Microsoft is planning to announce NFC payments with the launch of its WP7 NFC phone rumors Mango update, we feel sure there will be more WP7 NFC phone rumors to come.
