BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone snapped in the wild again

BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone snapped in the wild again and coming to Telus very soon

We know we have shown you a photograph of the BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone before, but this time BGR managed to catch a few shots of the upcoming BlackBerry, which will join the 9350, 9360 and 9370 NFC phones in the BlackBerry Curve Touch line up of budget NFC phones. It seems that RIM is attempting to saturate the market with a plethora of phones that have a slight variation on each other. This may explain why they are getting not-so-hot sales results from the BlackBerry 7 OS devices.

With more Curves and Bolds than you can shake a stick at, we all just want to know where the QNX NFC phones are. If you are in the market for a small budget NFC phone that’s probably going to cost less than $100, we doubt it can hurt any to add another to the pile.

BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone specs

Specs are light on the ground at the moment but we do know that the BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 allegedly has a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. We have also heard the phone features a 5-megapixel camera, 1GB Flash, 512MB RAM, microSD card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth. The BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 is rumored to launch in Q4 of this year in both GSM and CDMA flavors.

So, we can guess you will be able to get one on the carrier of your choice at launch, although Telus is a certainty at this point. We just hope by that time that the BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 is launched that it actually comes with support for most NFC tags and with some NFC software so you can use it. A BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone without the use of NFC is kind of redundant.

Look for The BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 NFC phone to be released in the coming months, Telus is rumored to be one of the first.
