The NFC Forum is looking to add the next piece in the pie of its certification program that will hit the limelight next year. Having a certified NFC Forum product obviously comes with its benefits, but the NFC Forum is looking to add more in-depth testing abilities to its certification process. As such the NFC Forum is looking for RFPs to Select RF Analog Test Tool Validation Services Test house.
“The 2nd Certification Wave, scheduled for 2012, adds testing for the physical layer and selected upper level digital protocols, including RF analog and peer-to-peer.”

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is being prepared by the NFC Forum to select the RF Analog Test Tool Validation Services test house. The Forum is inviting capable companies and organizations that want to register interest in supplying services to enable the validation of RF Analog test tools.
