Nokia says Symbian Belle and its NFC prowess to hit India by end of year

Nokia is planning on deploying Symbian Belle and its NFC capabilities to Indian handsets before the end of the year. Many of Nokia’s phones in India that are not capable of NFC are many of those are currently running on Symbian Anna, but news that has broken within the last few days reveals that Nokia plans to get Symbian Belle installed on NFC capable smartphones by the end of 2011. UPM RFID has found a new partner to help sell their wares in Finnish website Top Tunniste, who are now selling NFC related products through their Top Shop Netstore. The Top Tunniste Top Shop Netstore stocks NFC mobile phones and accessories, tools for tag content reading and writing, NFC reader (r/w) devices, NFC developer kits and SDKs, demos and software. The site has been selling NFC related products since 2005, but has recently added to stock levels and brought down minimum order numbers to more effectively ship products anywhere in the world. We popped over to the e-commerce store to take a look and they do indeed carry a wide selection of NFC tags and devices.
